Boo

What does it mean? So very disappointed in our election outcome. As a woman, I was excited about that ceiling being broken. But beyond that, I'm worried about our country's ship staying afloat, so to speak. I understand his appeal as a celebrity and the desire to shake things up and get things done. But he has so little experience and speaks in such an inflammatory way. If he really believes some of the things he's said, God help us.

  1. I'm terrified of a future under Trump. Global markets started falling before the tally was even official. I'm horrified that given a choice between an experienced, brilliant, level headed woman and a male orangutan our "great" country chose the orangutan.

    1. Yes, agreed. The fact that those of us Democrats for Hillary (all over the country but concentrated in cities and on the coasts) are so shocked and horrified shows the divide in this country. Culturally and with regard to many values, we are clearly so very different than Trump supporters. I heard she will likely win the popular vote, which is interesting.

  2. I am just grateful my daughter does not understand what is going on yet. I do not know how I would explain it to her. I am trying to use this as motivation to get more involved locally.

    1. I like that you're using it as motivation… That sounds positive

  3. I am very upset too and scared of the future. He opened up a Pandora box of hate and bigotry that was hidden - not sure where we are headed.

  4. We have a hard road ahead of us, but we must not let fear paralyze us. It is more important than ever to be active in doing good things and supporting good causes.
